Federal Work Study (FWS) is a campus-based, federally funded employment program that provides paid jobs for students with financial need.
Work Study is designed to help students meet educational expenses, while encouraging community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.
ALL students must complete and return their Work Study Application and Certification form before they can begin working. Work Study Application and Certification forms are available in the Student Service Center (Mullen Building, Room 203).
Work Study Timesheets will be given to students at the time they return their completed Work Study Application and Certification form and any necessary tax forms (see below).
Students NEW to the Federal Work Study Program must complete the USCIS I-9 Form, Federal Withholding W-4 Form, and the Ohio Withholding IT4 Form. All forms must be returned to the Student Service Center (Mullen Building, Room 203) with appropriate forms of ID (State issued driver's license or State ID and Social Security Card or Birth Certificate OR U.S. Passport).

Qualifications:
Applicants must be actively enrolled as an undergraduate degree-seeking student at ¿ì²¥³ÉÈËÍø.

Responsibilities:
Peer tutors support undergraduate students or group of undergraduate students in improving their academic performance on various forms of assessments (exams, essays, projects, etc.).
* Review class material with students by discussing texts, working solutions to sample problems, finding additional resources, and creating review or learning material.
* Provide feedback to undergraduate students, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, and build their confidence and abilities.
* Participate in training and observations to improve practices and learning new approaches.
* Input and update accurate visitation data and notes in a timely manner with the online system

Head Ursuline Guiding Arrow
The Head UGA will be a leader among the UGA staff and serve as a positive representative of the Ursuline Admission Office. The Head UGA will be responsible for assisting in the hiring and training of new UGAs, communicating relevant updates and information to UGAs, and serving as a leader during event and group visit days, organizing the UGA team.

Fitness Center Supervisor

The resident assistant (RA) is a fellow student who has been selected and trained to create a positive living environment that is fair to all and conductive to studying. The RA is expected to know the residents, be familiar with college policies, and be available when needed. The RA serves as a facilitator of community development through programming and building relationships with other residents. RAs support their residents, provide campus resources, mediate conflicts, encourage hall (and campus) involvement, and role model respectful behavior. RAs will have responsibilities related to pandemic protocol in congregate housing and may be asked to assist with enforcing college expectation designed to mitigate the risk of infection and spread of COVID-19.
